How about that David Letterman? Apparently, a 48 Hours (another CBS show) producer threatened to expose Letterman's sexual affairs with some female members of his staff unless he coughed up $2 million dollars. I heard him relate the whole ordeal late last night on his show. It was unclear as to whether or not these encounters occur ed before he got married last year or not. I'm sure there'll be more later today. Until the BIG announcement that the 2016 Olympics are coming to Chicago anyway (just a possibility as of writing this 0630 hrs Friday morning.... It is widely known that Letterman dated and even LIVED with a couple of co workers on his show when at NBC and early during the CBS "Late Show" years. So unless these liaisons are recent, the story is all about the stupid extortion attempt. Though it DOES pose an interesting dilemma concerning workplace romances and romances between people who are in authority... The thing I'm looking forward to are the upcoming Letterman/Sanford jokes.
