The title rhymes with "nonsense" for a reason.. Basically this is a loose collection of my ideas, thoughts, opinions, reaction to stuff I've read on the internet, stories, and pictures that caught my eye, opimions, etc. EST 2009

Happy Friday!
Happy Friday!
I am sick with a nasty cold and am looking forward to a weekend of 12 hour days at "the happiest place in the world" playing with helicopters and fire trucks- YIPPEE!
Thankful I have a job --thankful I have a job!
The reviews for Russell Crowe's "Robin Hood" are expressing the way I feel watching the trailers for it: WAY too serious. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting Mel Brooks' "Men in Tights" or even a comedy. Then again, I don't go to see a Robin Hood film as dramatic as 'Gladiator'. Think I'll wait on this one.
I've heard good things about the chick flick "Letters to Juliet". Of course with it's predictable ending, it's really not that bad according to what I've been told. My wife will drag me to Sex and the City 2: Whores in The Desert" in a couple of weeks.
All week I've been battling this horrible chest/head cold from hell. I've been watching some movies too.
I saw "Kick Ass"- the juvenile superhero movie. I was so surprised how well I liked it. Which is probably NOT a surprise for me wife. I really enjoyed it. Though it got some harsh reviews (one person told me they saw it reviewed as 'SUCK Ass').
Also checked out "Daybreakers" with Ethan Hawke, Wilam Dafoe, and Sam Neil. The premise is that a "bat virus" has pretty much turned the world into vampires and the remaining humans are hunted down and "farmed". The problem is, the world's blood supply is running out and the results "aren't too good!". To make things worse, the This movie had GREAT promise but really went down hill to me; despite some good, unique twists that weren't put in "just for the sake of being quirky or a twist". Not so much as to say you shouldn't see it. To me, it's definitely worth a DVD rental. AND it's out this week.
Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakeul (sp?)- I saw it in 2 parts. Feh.....
Looking forward to George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead on May 28th....
I did like being at home 2 days with my dogs. Grilled out some tasty bacon cheese burgers yesterday.
I read where Chris Hemsworth has finished his part in filming the big screen adaptation of the comic book story and Avengers lead in "THOR". He says while the suit looks REALLY cool, it's uncomfortable as hell and he's glad to be out of it for a while.
There's an interesting story about the porno parody of the 60's Batman TV show at Comic book resources- http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=26220. There's a trailer for it at youtube.com .
