Marvel Studios announced yesterday that Hugo Weaving has been cast to star as Johann Schmidt aka the Red Skull in the studio’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER movie. According to the studio, the character will be updated for the feature adaptation.
